Cranberry Apple Cake
1 cup coarsely chopped cranberries 3 TBSP sugar 2 TBSP butter, softened 2/3 cup dark brown sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 cup flour 2 eggs 2 tsps baking powder 1/2 tsp cinnamon 2 cups peeled, thinly sliced apples Pre-heat oven to 350. Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan. Mix berries and sugar and set aside. Beat the butter, sugar and eggs together. Remaining ingredients except apples and cranberries and mix well. Stir the apples and cranberries into the batter till the fruit is well coated. Spread into prepared pan and bake at 350 for about 35 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
